Student Places First
Texas Skills USA held the XIII District competition at Texas State Technical College on Saturday February 20th, 2010. Sophomore David Guerrero participated in four sections in the Automotive Refinishing Technology competition. The first section was masking, second section was water sanding, third section was spot job and the last section was the finish, complete paint job. He placed 1st out of approximately 25 other high school students. “I had a fun experience and these skills will help me a lot if I go into the auto collision business”, said David of the experience in the competition. Lasara ISD congratulates David on his outstanding accomplishment!
